About Us

Essential Cheer was originally started as a small business back in 2019 when I was a young mom and wanted to create products I would enjoy using. I started with a lava bead, sterling silver & gemstone bracelet wrap, natural bath bombs, bath salts, and hand made soap infused with pure essential oil combinations I enjoyed.

I wanted to share my creations with others that may find joy in them too. It lasted for a few years, and I got to share the products I made with a few others. Another bonus was the unexpected friendships I got out of it.

 

However, a time came where I had to close operations as my career and family grew.

 

Since then, I have grown as a person, and my values and interests have changed with time too. I started getting into making fermented foods for my family, and liked the benefits I was seeing. I found this added to a healthier lifestyle focusing on naturally fermented foods that were easier to digest. I struggled with gluten intolerance for well over a decade, and I found that having some sort of fermented food with each main meal helped me to absorb the nutrients from my good more easily, my immune system improved, and I no longer had issues with gluten that I did in the past.

Essential Cheer reopened in 2025 to provide tools that are staples for sourdough baking, kimchi, sauerkraut, and other fermented foods. In addition, there will be the original essential cheer lava bead bracelet for diffusing pure essential oils and blend which this company was founded on.
